This privacy policy sets out below how Marlborough Riding for the Disabled Association (MRDA) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

MRDA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should MRDA ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement, MRDA may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page when you use the website to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1/8/2023.

What MRDA collects

MRDA may collect the following information:

  1. Name and Title,

  2. Contact information including email address,

  3. Demographic information such as post code, preferences and interests,

  4. Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.

What MRDA does with the information we gather

MRDA requires this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service for the following reasons:

  1. Internal record keeping,

  2. We may use the information to improve our services,

  3. We may periodically send promotional email about events, or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided,

By creating an account or donating through MRDA you are consenting to receive marketing communications from us via e-mail including community-related content, event partner opportunities, cause-related information, competitions and promotional campaigns.

You can opt-out from any of these campaigns using the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of these emails, or you can unsubscribe from all databases at any time by replying to any email you receive from MRDA with the subject line ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’. Your email address will then be removed from our marketing list. MRDA will process unsubscribe requests within 10 working days.

  1. Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes,

MRDA will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you.
